On April 10, the commissioning ceremony for Fast Group’s new project with an annual output of 120,000 medium and heavy-duty electric drive assemblies was grandly held at its Baoji base. Ma Xuyao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Fast Group, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

    In his address, Ma Xuyao pointed out that in recent years, Fast has thoroughly implemented the country’s new development philosophy, actively explored new paths for green transformation and intelligent upgrading, taken forward-looking strides in emerging industrial tracks, and accelerated the development of a new industrial ecosystem.     Ma Xuyao emphasized that with the official commissioning of the new production line, Fast’s annual production capacity for new energy products will exceed 250,000 units, achieving full coverage of all product lines in the commercial vehicle electric drive sector. This marks another important milestone in the enterprise’s innovative development history and a major achievement in fostering and expanding new quality productivity, representing a brand-new breakthrough in the new energy track. Standing at the new starting point of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Fast will closely align with the national new energy industry strategy, accelerate the in-depth integrated development of eight major industrial sectors, continuously strengthen R&D of new energy products, strive to make breakthroughs in key core technologies, and promote the deep integration of the new energy industrial chain, supply chain and value chain.     With a total investment of nearly 300 million yuan, Fast’s new 120,000-unit annual production project for medium and heavy-duty electric drive assemblies is built in strict compliance with national smart manufacturing factory standards. It deeply integrates data-driven operation and flexible design, and incorporates full-process advanced processes including thermal assembly units, intelligent assembly lines, high-precision testing lines and eco-friendly coating lines, enabling automated, digital and lean management across the entire process from component processing to finished product delivery. As a major strategic move in Fast’s in-depth adjustment of its new energy layout, the project is expected to reshape the competitive landscape of China’s new energy electric drive industry and provide strong support for the transformation and upgrading of the new energy vehicle sector.

    The newly launched FAST Beyond Drive FS6E270 electric drive assembly is Fast’s independently developed latest-generation electric drive solution for medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Equipped with a high-power flat wire motor with a rated power of 465kW and perfectly matched with the F6E320 new energy dedicated transmission, it delivers industry-leading transmission efficiency. Boasting outstanding strengths such as collaborative high efficiency, intelligent energy conservation, ultimate reliability and flexible adaptability, it adopts an original energy management mode to boost the vehicle’s cruising range by over 20%. Widely compatible with mainstream commercial vehicle models such as heavy-duty tractors and dump trucks, it leads industrial development with superior technological performance.

    At the commissioning ceremony, Fast showcased eight cutting-edge new energy products including the newly developed heavy-duty electric drive axles, fully demonstrating its systematic layout and technological edge in the field of new energy commercial vehicle transmission systems.
